Classes to accommodate any curriculum (The Good and the Beautiful, Khan, etc), age group and timeframe.  A class of up to 20 students, your family, a group of families or a microschool.   Incorporate one class into your curriculum or multiple, working together for your specific learning experience. The lessons will include biology, genetics, chemistry, physics, forensics, ecology, botany, zoology, environmental science, photography and more.  A fun way to teach science to young minds incorporating everyday indoor and outdoor actives with labs that are interactive and engaging.  Listed below is an example of the classes offered in the program.

  • The Science of Making Bread - the fermentation, chemistry and environmental factors that contribute to a tasty treat as the end.

  • Why We Should Wash Our Hands Frequently - exploring the world of germs using experiments to show the spread and growth of bacteria.

  • Why are Humans Special - cellular, anatomy, behavior, evolution.

  • Cellular Biology - structure, function, and behavior of cells. Possible to combine with homemade magnifying glass and microscope class.

  • Making a Homemade Magnifying Glass and Microscope - use every day items to examine items closer, stain and observe cell structure of onions.

  • DNA - where it is found, structure and function, chromosome, and genetic profiling .  Collection of your own sample and  evaluate a mini crime scene.

  • Organ Transplant, Genetic Engineering and Bioprinting - exploring the science of donating a kidney, 3D printing techniques to create living tissues and genetically modified foods.

  • Fingerprints - different patterns of your own fingerprints using magnifying glasses, dusting powder and brushes. Evaluate a mini crime scene.

  • Pawprints and Footprints- learn about different patterns of paw prints and your own footprints. Examine prints using ink, casting material and snow print wax.

  • Forensics and Blood Spatter - using biology, physic, math and photography to create, evaluate  a mini crime scene.
